Frame4TF4=An example of a paginated text with a title, or heading.(excl)<<>>This is the first part, or page, of a document. As this is only an example, the text is very short. Click the right arrow button of the Pages group to move on to the next section.<<>>Now comes Part 2. We have divided the document in 3 parts, which means that this is the middle segment. Click the right arrow button once more, please, for the final block of text.<<>>In a real-life scenario, when working on a 5 or 6 page document, it would be convenient to be able to go quickly to the beginning or end of the text. Clicks on the right text box will produce this exact effect!

Frame7TF4=
Frame7TF5=Please note: For some reason, you may wish to see a frame object – a text field or an image, enlarged. This can easily be done thanks to the Zoom-in feature. To magnify an object, you first have to select it. Text fields and images are selected by clicking them. To select a table, you have to click the leftmost cell in the header row. Then, position the cursor over the ‘Z’ (Zoom) button. All other objects will disappear, and the selected one will be magnified as much as the screen size allows, while keeping its width-to-height (or aspect) ratio. Move the cursor away, and the original frame layout will be restored. Try something different now: select a text field with a scrollbar or one containing paginated text, and position the cursor over the ‘i’ (Info) button!
Frame8TF4=
Frame8TF5=Please note: Sometimes your teacher may decide that additional information related to the topic of the slide show is needed. One possible source is the Internet, and we have explained how easy it is to open a web page linked to a frame (the ‘W’ button in this case will be yellow). Content files, saved in your Project’s Support folder, will probably be the other, more common option. These files could be of different type: documents, images, audio, or video. To open them, 10_Q LITE will rely on dedicated programs installed on your computer.
If instructed by your teacher, click ‘i’; you will be taken to a page where you will select and open the respective file.
Frame9TF4=
Frame9TF5=Please note: To start drawing lines or curves on the slide with the mouse, click the left button of the Lines/Arcs group to choose a color. With each click, the color of the button will change to blue, red, green, and black, to indicate what color your lines and arcs will be in. You can draw in different colors on the same slide. The last option – white, deactivates the feature. Having chosen a color, click with the left mouse button where you want a line to start, keep the button pressed, and drag the cursor to the point where the line should end. When you release the button, a straight line will appear between the start and end points. For an irregular curve, or arc, click the ‘Lines’ button; the label will change to ‘Arcs’, and then apply the same method.
For arcs, the start and end points should not be vertically aligned. Besides, you will come up with 2 different arcs by dragging the cursor between the same 2 points from the higher to the lower point, and from the lower to the higher point.
Delete all you have drawn with a click on the right button of the Lines/Arcs group.

Frame10TF5=
Frame11TF4=
Frame11TF5=Please note: Since this is a simple concordancer tool, it has certain limitations. It works with texts in ‘.txt’ format only. The documents to be processed have to be specified as additional content files (in the related test) and stored in the Support folder.
We have provided a file – ‘readme.txt’, for you to test the concordancer with now. (A file with the same content, called ‘readme_10_Q_LITE.txt’, is stored in the installation package.) What you need to do is the following: click the ‘i’ (Info) button, select ‘readme.txt’ with the arrow buttons, and click ‘Concordancer’. In view of the subject matter of the text, suitable words to enter in the search field would be computer-related terms like ‘file’, ‘folder’, ‘install’, ‘program’, and so on, but feel free to experiment with others, too.
Frame12TF4=
Frame12TF5=Please note: The presence of the ‘A’ button on the screen (between the Frames and Unfold groups) means that the Automatic slide show feature (ASSF) is activated for some or all frames of a presentation, i.e. navigating to the next frame, unfold step, list item, etc., or opening an exercise, a webpage, and so on, in this slide show segment will be automatic. We have used the ASSF in a very limited way here, just for an illustration. Please go back to Frame 11. You will see a red circle around the ‘A’ button; this is the sigh that the ASSF starts from the next frame, and we need to click the button, if we wish. Please do so! After 5 seconds the program will take you to Frame 12, from which the ASSF will be activated. The color of the ‘A’ button will change to yellow, and after a few more seconds the next frame, Frame 13, will be shown. At that point, the ‘A’ button will turn white to indicate that the ASSF events are completed and it is deactivated.
The ‘Back’ button (<<) has an important role. It takes us back to where we came from: the ‘Mode of work’ page, or the ‘Main test page’ if the slide show was started there as Additional content.
